Swimming Sweeps Cavs, Bison to Close AEC Schedule

Marywood honors Dylan Hervieux on Senior Day

Scranton, Pa. -- Marywood University capped off its Atlantic East Conference swimming schedule with a sweep over Cabrini University and Gallaudet University. Marywood will host Moravian in its regular season finale next week.

The Marywood men defeated Gallaudet 104-36 and edged Cabrini 76-68. The Pacers' women downed the Bison 83-60 and the Cavaliers 73-26.

On his Senior Day, Dylan Hervieux raced to two wins with a 1:54.81 finish in the 200 free and a 58.27-second mark in the 100 back.

Emmerson Gellert dominated the women's 200 free with a five-second win in 2:10.97. She added a second win with a 5:36.17 mark in the 400 IM.

Aubrey Mangan out-touched the field for a 27.85-second win in the women's 50 free. She garnered a 1:18.26 victory in the 100 breast.

Quinn Grosvenor had three individual victories. He won the men's 1,000 free in 11:23.78, 100 fly in 57.4 seconds, and the 500 free in 5:32.17.

Samantha Peck claimed wins in the 100 butterfly (1:05.07), 500 free (6:00.34),

The Pacers' women even their record to 7-7 overall and 3-3 in conference play. Marywood 's men's team improves to 6-7 overall with a 3-2 conference mark.
