Marywood Wraps Up Regular Season with Win over Moravian

Scranton, Pa. - Marywood University wrapped up its swimming regular season with a sweep over Moravian University. The victory gives the women's team a winning record (8-7) for the season. 

The Marywood women defeated the Greyhounds by an 89-48 score. The Pacers downed Moravian 90-16 on the men's side. 

Samantha Peck finished first in the women's 1,000 free in 12:03.17 and 100 butterfly in 1:04.57.

Emerson Gellert had two individual victories over the Greyhounds. She earned a five-second win with a 200 free time of 2:09.78. Gellert touched first in the 500 free in 5:56.25. 

Aubrey Mangan delivered a first-place performance in the 100 breast, clocking in at 5:18.96.

Johnny Wargins swept the men's sprint races. He raced to a 25.19-second finish for the top spot in the men's 50 free. Wargins won his second race by claiming the 100 free in 58.97 seconds. 

Dylan Hervieux took the 200 IM in 2:17.01 in his final home meet. 

Marywood will compete at the Atlantic East championships at St. Mary's College of Maryland in two weeks.
