Haverford, Pa. - Marywood University finished in the top three in several events at the Seamus McElligot Invitational hosted at Haverford College. There was no team scoring at the meet.
Brandon Fleschut was third place in the men's 5K. He joined the Marywood record books with the fifth-best time of 10:29.83.
Alyssa Kavelsky came in second place in the high jump, clearing 4 feet, 1 1/4 inches (1.25m).
Rosalyn Page claimed third place, measuring a shot put at 39 feet, 10 3/4 inches (12.16m).
Paige Redman finished in third place in the mile. She beat her PR by two-hundredths of a second with a 5:25.13 performance that registered third all-time at Marywood. Lany Straub came in fifth place in 5:33.11, followed by
Hayley Gaines in seventh place at 5:42.35.
Ethan Dustman cleared 5 feet, 5 inches (1.65m) for third place in the high jump.
Abby Megotz clocked in seventh place with a 400 time of 1:05.62. Megotz beat her PR to improve her third-best time in the Marywood record book. Megotz also recorded the fifth-best 200 dash time in school history with a 28.51-second finish for 14th place.
Raidan Francis placed sixth in the mile in 4:28.23. Francis registered the fifth-best time at Marywood.
Marywood will compete at NYU on Friday.
