Pacers Drop to Saints in Conference Play, 67-50

Scranton, Pa. - With snow beginning to fall just outside, the warm Insalanco Arena played host to the first Atlantic East Conference game of the season for the Pacers, as they took on the Saints of Marymount University. The Pacers fell 67-50 to the Saints, and dropped to 6-8 overall (0-1 AEC). 

Marywood had three players in double digits , with Faith Kendricks leading the way, dropping 14 points on 5-8 (62.5%) shooting. 

As a team, Marywood was 20-49 (40.8%) in total. The Pacers shot 6-15 (40%) from behind the arc to pair with a 4-11 (36.4%) clip from the charity stripe. 

On the glass, Marywood had three players with four boards each. Colby White, Kendel Card, and Alli Griscavage led the Pacers, who grabbed 29 total rebounds. 

The Saints were able to win the rebound battle, and grab 39 of their own. 

Rachel McDonald had a team-high four assists for the Pacers, as Symantha Shackelford had a game-high six for the Saints. 

Marymount was led offensively by Terra Dzambo and Chandler Eddleton, who put up 12 points each. 

The Saints shot 23-57 (40.4%) as a team, as well as 5-19 (26.3) from three and 16-22 (72.7%) from the free-throw line. 

The Pacers hope to get back in the win column on Wednesday, as they travel to Immaculata University to take on the Mighty Macs.
