Pacers Wrap Up Season with 19th Place Finish at Regionals

Lany Straub records her second All-Region nod

Lock Haven, Pa. — Marywood University wrapped up its women's cross country season with a 19th place finish at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Region Championships. The Pacers averaged a 24:44 time on the 8K course.

Marywood finished with 521 points. It improved one position from last year's race.

Johns Hopkins won the regional championship with 34 points. Carnegie Mellon were runner-ups with 76 points.

Lany Straub took 27th place to earn all-Region honors. Straub completed the course in 22:10.2. Straub ran better than her 2022 NCAA-qualifying time to move into No. 3 all-time at Marywood. She ran 12 seconds faster than her PR.

Paige Redman came in 81st place with a time of 23:50.4. Her time moved her up to No. 14 all-time at Marywood. Redman cut six seconds off her PR and improved two spaces from last year's regional race.

Gabby Snee came in 129th place at 25:14.1.

Bella Auchenbach cracked the Top 50 in the record books at No. 49. She finished with a 25:31.4 run, dropping 42 seconds off her previous best.

Abby Adamsky dropped 26 seconds off her best time with a 26:55.2. Marissa Martin sliced 36 seconds off her PR to clock in at 28:52.
