Women's Cross Country Takes Third at AEC Championships

Milton, N.Y. — Marywood University finished in third place at the Atlantic East Conference Women's Cross Country Championships Saturday at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome.

The Pacers finished with 56 points and an average 6K time of 27:36. Marywood lost the tiebreaker with Immaculata University.

Paige Redman finished in fourth overall with a 26-minute flat time. 

Gabby Snee placed eighth in 27:08.2. Bella Auchenbach earned 10th in her first conference championship race, completing the course in 27:25.2.

Abby Adamsky crossed the finish in 17th place at 29:01.7. Zoe Badner rounded out the scoring in 18th place with a 29:06.6 finish. 

Marissa Martin beat out Immaculata's Catherine Haas by 1:28 for the second-place tiebreaker. Martin completed the race in 30:18.3. 

Marymount ended Marywood's five-championship streak in first place. 

The Pacers will compete next at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Championships in Lock Haven.
