Five Pacers Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

Higgins, Mulherin, and Sorce selected to the Academic All-America® ballot

Greenwood, Ind. – Five members of the Marywood University women's soccer team earned a spot on the 2024 College Sports Communications Academic All-District® Team announced earlier Tuesday afternoon.

The CSC Academic All-District® Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

One junior, one senior, and three graduate students led the list for Marywood. Isabel Shore, Riley Mulherin, Britlyn Higgins, Josephine Sorce, and Caroline Plank represented the Pacers.

The CSC Selection Committee named Higgins, Mulherin, and Sorce to the Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in December.

Marywood's five honorees helped lead Marywood to their fourth NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship appearance and a second Atlantic East Conference Championship title.
