Marywood Drops Pair at Elmira

Elmira, N.Y. — Marywood University dropped a pair of matches Saturday at the Elmira College volleyball tri-match. The Pacers fell to the host Soaring Eagles and Misericorda University in three sets. 

Elmira defeated the Pacers by scores of 25-15, 27-25, 25-12. Misericordia beat Marywood by 25-13, 25-12, 25-11 scores. 

In the loss to the Soaring Eagles, Leah Zambetti had a team-best seven points with six kills and two block assists. 

Emily Agnoli provided 10 digs defensive. Tess Connolly had three aces. Libby Zick had nine assists. 

Elmira's Asia Curkendall had six kills, 10 assists and 10 digs. 

Against Misericordia, Bethany Burns had four kills. Ryleigh Hart finished with a team-high 4 1/2 points. 

Agnoli had six digs, and Zick provided nine assists. 

Marywood hosts SUNY Delhi on Wednesday night.
