Men's Swimming Opens Season at Home, Hartwick

Scranton, Pa.; Oneonta, N.Y. — Marywood University men's swimming opened its season with a loss to King's College and Wilkes University on Saturday, as well as a trip to the Hartwick Relays on Sunday.

Alex Corcoran took second place in the 50 breast in 32.82 seconds.

Joey Kessler finished in third place in the 50 free in 24.29 seconds. He was also third in the 100 free in 54.71 seconds.

Sam O'Sullivan was runner-up in the 100 back in 1:02.77, ahead of Alex McCarey's 1:03.45.

Owen Turner came in third place in the 200 IM in 2:28.9.

At Hartwick, the 300 back relay of Owen Turner, Alex McCarey and Sam O'Sullivan registered a 3:15.4. The mixed 200 medley relay that featured Turner, Aubrey Mangan, Emerson Gellert, and Dom Leone was third in 2:03.98.

Marywood competes at SUNY Delhi in two weeks.
