Marywood Falls to Stockton

Galloway, N.J. — The Marywood University field hockey team traveled to Stockton University on Tuesday. The Pacers were defeated by the Ospreys, 7-0.  

Stockton University got on the board quickly, scoring in the 3rd minute of play. 

The Ospreys tacked on two more goals in the first half, scoring in the 15th and 23rd minutes, taking a 3-0 lead into halftime. 

The third quarter saw three more Stockton University tallies, as the Ospreys scored in the 31st, 32nd, and 37th minutes of play. 

In the 46th minute, the Ospreys grabbed their final score of the day, finishing off the 7-0 victory. 

The Pacers were out-shot 28-5 in the affair, 14-2 on target. 

Stockton also led in penalty corner opportunities, 14-3. 

Brooke Barwick recorded four of the Pacers' five shots. 

Bre Marchiano and Sabrina Frazer split time in the cage, combining for seven saves. 

Marywood will look to bounce back on Saturday as they head to Neumann to resume Atlantic East conference play.
