Swimming Sweeps SUNY Delhi

Women's Swimming remains undefeated through three meets

Delhi, N.Y. — Marywood University swimming and diving swept SUNY Delhi on Saturday. The women defeated the Broncos 226-19, and the men defeated Delhi 127-87.

Molly Englehardt won the 1,000 free with a time of 12:13.74. She swam to a 5:57.75 victory in the 500 free.

In the 200 free, Catelyn Lieser touched in first with a time of 2:12.17. She earned a 50 free win in 26.79 seconds.

Harper Welker out-touched her Delhi competition by two-hundredths of a second. in the 50 back in 32.7 seconds. She beat the 100 back field in 1:09.54.

Camila Gil had three individual wins. She raced to a 35.26-second win in the 50 breast. Gil was the 100 breast winner with a mark of 1:16.66. Gil came on top in the 50 butterfly in 29.15 seconds.

Gil broke the 50 breast and 50 butterfly pool records.

Kylee Koratich recorded a 100 fly win with a time of 1:06.07. She was the top swimmer in the 100 free in 1:00.94. She also won the 200 IM in 2:28.51.

Kenny Sawicki won the 1-meter diving with 196.05 points over Kyla Harbodin's 187.35.

Marywood's 200 free relay of Lieser, Adrianna Howell, Izzy Kremer and Englehardt won in 1:51.46. The women's 200 medley of Koratich, Aubrey Mangan, Gil and Emmerson Gellert won with a 2:04.56 performance.

On the men's side, Sam O'Sullivan recorded a 2:05.1 win in the 200 free.

Alex McCarey clocked in a 50 back win in 28.71 seconds. He came through in the 200 IM in 2:30.92.

Alex Corcoran won three events. He had a 50 free breast first place in 32.58 seconds. Corcoran was the best of six 50 free swimmers in 24.85 seconds. He claimed the top time in the 100 brast in 1:14.53.

Owen Turner won the 100 butterfly in 1:11.69, and Tanner Osborn won the 100 free in 56.39 seconds.

Dominic Leone beat out the 500 field in 6:20.93.
