Swimming Defeats Mighty Macs, Falls to Saints

Immaculata, Pa. — Marywood University men's and women's swimming split in an Atlantic East Conference tri-match. The Pacers defeated host Immaculata University and fell to Marymount University. 

Kylee Koratich won the 200 butterfly in 2:29.66. 

Catelyn Lieser beat out Marymount's Ilana Hawkins by seven-hundredths of a second in the 50 free. 

Camila Gil was the runner-up in the 200 breast. Gil came in 2:43.36. She was second place in the 400 IM at 5:17.65.

Molly Englehardt captured a win in the 500 free. Englehardt raced to the wall to post a 5:49.03 finish. 

Emerson Gelleter was just four-hundredths of a second off in a competitive 100 butterfly. Gellert clocked in at 1:07.19.

Marywood was second place in both the 200 medley and 200 free relays.

Marywood travels to Lycoming on Saturday, Nov. 8 in Williamsport.
