Marywood run-ruled Hood game two

Winter Haven, Fla. — The Marywood University softball team opened up their Spring Break trip today in Florida, taking on Albertus Magnus and Hood. The Pacers would have a comeback win in game one and run-rule victory game two to improve their overall record to 2-2.

An RBI double off the bat of Tori Para began a five-run fourth inning, propelling Marywood to victory.

Albertus Magnus struck first, scoring one in the bottom of the first.

The Pacers evened it at 1-1 in the second, before the Falcons put up 3 more of their own in the bottom half to take a 4-1 lead.

Marywood tallied six runs in the next two innings, one in the 3rd and five in the 4th, taking a 7-4 lead.

Both teams would score one run in the 6th inning, before a scoreless 7th led to a 8-4 Pacer victory.

Marley Sarafinko led Marywood with two runs scored.

Hoffman and Tori Para tallied two RBIs a piece to lead Marywood.
