Reed, Page Named Athlete of the Week; Lee, Megotz to Honor Roll

Owings Mills, Md. — Marywood University seniors Rosalyn Page and Brandon Reed were named Athlete of the Week, officials announced Thursday. Thomas Lee and Abby Megotz were selected to the honor roll.

Page won the discus throw at the Misericordia Invitational with a throw of 114 feet, 4 inches (34.86m). She took second in the shot put at 36 feet, 10 1/2 inches (11.24m). Page achieved PRs in the hammer throw (97-6, 29.71m) and javelin (82-7, 25.18m).

Reed helped the Pacers at both Misericordia and Moravian this week. He produced the second-best triple jump in school history with a of 39 feet, 11 ½ inches (12.18m) for fifth place at Misericordia. At Moravian, he came in sixth place in the long jump at 20 feet, 9 1/4 inches (6.33m).

Megotz ran the third-fastest 400 hurdles time at Marywood. Competing at Moravian, she was 15th place in 1:13.28. Megotz came in 18th place in the 200 dash in 27.11 seconds. Her 400 hurdles time ranks second in the Atlantic East.

Lee helped the Pacers at both Moravian and Misericordia this week. He was the 16th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a 10:52.92 at Moravian — ranking second in the Atlantic East. At Misericordia, he was seventh in the 800 at 2:04.78 and in the 5K in 16:52.69.
