Pacers Top Falcons in Four Sets

Libby Zick tallies four aces

Allentown, Pa. -- Marywood University volleyball surpassed last year's win total with its ninth win of the season. The Pacers beat Cedar Crest College by a 3-1 score on Tuesday. 

Marywood earned its first win over Cedar Crest since 2019. 

The Pacers defeated the Falcons by scores of 25-19, 18-25, 25-9, 25-12. 

Genevieve Pollock led the Pacers' offense with nine kills. Taylor Hallam had two blocks, three aces, and 12 points. 

Libby Zick tallied seven aces and 14 assists. Ayla Bransford had 11 assists. 

Andrea Fraga had a career-best 33 digs. Catie Woolf added 10 digs. Julia Strohm had a season-best nine digs.

Ryleigh Hart blocked three shots.

Cedar Crest's Ellise Everett contributed a match-high 10 kills. Phoebe Pitella had 19 digs. 

Marywood heads to Penn State Berks Saturday in a tri-match that also features Penn State Abington.
