Pacers Edged Out by Immaculata in Overtime

Anstadt tallies double-double

Scranton, Pa. — The Marywood University women's basketball team fell, 73-62, in overtime to Immaculata University on Thursday night. 

The Pacers were up, 24-23, heading into halftime. 

Trailing by two after the third period, Marywood outscored Immaculata in the fourth to force overtime, all knotted at 60-60. 

In overtime, Immaculata outscored Marywood, 13-2, walking away with the 73-62 victory. 

Marywood shot 38.7 percent from the floor in total, 22.2 percent from three, and 90.9 percent from the free-throw line. 

Alli Anstadt recorded a double-double, collecting 10 rebounds and 13 points. 

Megan Cavoli led the Pacers with 14 points. Mia Blume added 11 points. 

Anyah Ortiz had nine points and was a perfect 7-7 at the charity stripe. 

Immaculata totaled 33.3 percent from the field, 13.0 percent from three, and 72.7 percent from the stripe. 

Carly Coleman led Immaculata with a double-double, totaling 23 points and 13 rebounds. Olivia Ettorre tallied 17 points. 

The Mighty Macs out-rebounded the Pacers, 48-41. 

Marywood will host Centenary University on Saturday, January 31st, at 1 p.m. at the Insalaco Arena.
