Women's Swimming Stays in First After Relays

St. Mary's City, Md. — Marywood University women's swimming remained in first place after the first day of the Atlantic East Conference Swimming Championships on Thursday. The men's swimming team stands in third place.

Marywood took third place in all four relays on Thursday.

In the women's 200 medley relay, the Pacers took third place in a time of 1:56.88. Tori Sills, Aubrey Mangan, Camila Gil and Catelyn Lieser clocked in with a 1:56.88.

The Pacers came in third in the 800 free relay. Gil, Lieser, Emerson Gellert and Mangan touched the wall in 8:34.11.

On the men's side, the 800 free relay of Alex McCarey, Anthony Ciotti, Owen Turner and Sam O'Sullivan was in third place in 8:16.74.

The 200 medley relay of Dominic Leone, Turner, McCarey and Corcoran clocked in at 1:49.95.

Competition resumes on Friday.

In the women's standings, Marywood (138) leads St. Mary's College of Maryland (80) and Marymount (68). The Saints lead the Seahawks with the Pacers at 64 points.
