Aston, Pa. — Marywood University battled Neumann University to the wire Wednesday night at The Mirenda Center but came up just short in an 84-76 loss.
At the half, Marywood held a narrow 41-38 lead.
Shilo Bivins led the Pacers with 21 points.
Michel Loftin (16), Noah Perry (13), and Collin Himmelberg (11) all scored double-digit points for Marywood.
Bivins also led the team in rebounds with six.
Donte Dupriest led Neumann with a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds.
The Pacers were 48.3 percent from the field (29-of-60), 39.1 percent from three (9-of-23), and a perfect 100.0 percent from the charity stripe (9-of-9).
Neumann shot 56.9 percent from the field (33-of-58), 61.5 percent from three-point range (8-of-13), and 71.4 percent from the free-throw line (10-of-14).
With the loss, the Pacers fall to 13-11 overall and 6-7 in Atlantic East play.
Marywood wraps up its regular season against Marymount University on Saturday.
