Marywood Nets Three On Academic Honor Roll

Haddonfield, N.J — Marywood University placed three student-athletes on the Atlantic East Conference Weekly Honor Roll, officials announced Monday. Luke Ament (men's lacrosse), Megan Cavoli (Women's basketball) and Andfrew Quinn (men's basketball) all earned a spot on the list.

Ament won 15 of 18 faceoffs for an 83.3 percent success rate in the Pacers' 9-6 win over Wilkes. Ament finished with 15 ground balls. His faceoff victories propelled Marywood to score four unanswered goals in the last 16 minutes to come back to beat the Colonels.

Cavoli led Marywood to a 1-1 week with 13 points per game. She provided the Pacers with an overtime win over Neumann with an 11-point effort. Cavoli scored 15 points in a tight loss to Marymount.

Quinn made two-thirds of his 3-point attempts to average 17 points per game in the final two regular season contests. He scored 25 points in a nailbiter loss to Marymount, going 8 for 11 from the field with five 3-pointers. Earlier in the week, he added nine points and four rebounds to his name against Neumann.
