Loftin, Perry Selected Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators

Greenwood, Ind.- Marywood University men's basketball players Michel Loftin and Noah Perry were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team Tuesday afternoon.

To be chosen, a student-athlete had to have been at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and must have competed in 90 percent of the games or must have started at least 66 percent of the games for their team.

Loftin earns his second straight Academic All-District honor, while Perry receives this recognition for the first time.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
