Noah Trager allows a run over four innings

Ft. Pierce, Fla. — Marywood University wrapped up its Spring Break baseball trip with an 11-1 win over Franciscan University of Steubenville on Friday. The Pacers won via run rule in seven innings.

Noah Trager earned his first victory, allowing an earned run in four innings. He struck out four and allowed four hits.

Cam Bott went 3 for 3 with three RBIs. Watson Church batted 2 for 2 with two RBIs and a sacrifice fly.

Both Evan Bruder and Watson Church finished with a pair of hits.

Marywood tallied three runs in the bottom of the second inning. Ethan Reccek hit a single up the middle to bring in Mike Biskup. The Pacers bunted safely in two straight plate appearances, setting up a Bott single that plated a pair of runs.

The Pacers tacked on four runs in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, Tanner Vicendese hit a single to left field to drive in a run. Church drove in a pair with a single to center. Bruder extended the lead to seven run on a fielder's choice.

Joel Ayers had an outfield assist on a double play from right field.

The Marywood bullen pitched three scoreless innings. Logan Vakiener and Brett Kugler allowed just a hit in an inning, and Aidan Dolan retired three of the four batters faced.
