Box Score 1 Schuylkill Haven, Pa.- The Marywood University softball team earned a doubleheader split against Penn State Schuylkill on Tuesday afternoon, cruising to an 18–1 victory in game one before falling 8–4 in the nightcap.

Game One: Marywood 18, Penn State Schuylkill 1 (5 inn.)
Marywood wasted no time getting on the board, as Amber Little delivered a two-run single in the top of the first inning. Penn State responded in the bottom half with a sacrifice bunt that cut the Pacers' lead to 2–1.

The Pacers broke the game open in the second, erupting for five runs, and carried that momentum into the third with three more, highlighted by a three-run home run from Tori Para.

Marywood continued to pour it on in the fourth, adding three runs, including Little's first collegiate home run. The Pacers sealed the run-rule victory with four more runs in the fifth.

Little led the offensive surge, finishing with three hits and five RBIs, while five Marywood players recorded multi-hit performances in the opener.

In the circle, Briann Voyer was in control throughout, tossing a complete game with two strikeouts. She allowed just one earned run on four hits in the win.

The second game remained scoreless until the bottom of the fourth inning, when the Nittany Lions broke through with two runs. They added three more in the fifth to build a 5–0 lead.

Marywood got on the board in the top of the sixth, as Marina Antal drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and Mia Antolino followed with an RBI single. Penn State answered with three runs in the bottom half of the inning to extend its lead.

The Pacers attempted a late rally in the seventh, scoring two runs, but the deficit proved too large to overcome.
