11 Pacers Receive CSC Academic All-District At-Large Distinction

Greenwood, Ind.- Marywood had 11 student athletes recognized on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic At-Large Men's and Women's All-District Teams on Tuesday.

To be eligible for Academic All-District accolades, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, meet certain athletics participation criteria, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better.

Representing the Pacers men's side are Michael Caputo, Joseph Keller, Luke Ament, Wil Pieters, and Dalton Gerver of the men's lacrosse team.

The women's academic all-district team featured Kaitlyn Smith of women's lacrosse and Dariane Jones, Lany Straub, Phaedra Day, Hanna Gardner, and Jordan Saybe of field hockey.

Jones was named an Academic All-America® finalist and will appear on the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on July 7, 2026.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in five divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and the College Division.
