Women’s Tennis Falls to Wilkes

Scranton, Pa.- The Marywood University women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Wilkes University Saturday afternoon.

Marywood picked up its lone point of the match at No. 5 singles, where Angeline Basta Nieto defeated Isabella Bopp, 6-4, 7-6 (1).

Avianna Santarelli and Hanna Adonizio lost the first doubles by a 6-4 score. Hanna Adonizio fell 6-1, 7-5 in the No. 2 singles to Julia Spaeth. 

Sunday's match at Mount Saint Vincent was postponed until Sept. 27.
