Danbury, Conn. - Marywood University qualified for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) women's lacrosse playoffs for the second consecutive season. The fourth-seeded Pacers will host No. 1 Arcadia University in a rematch of an overtime thriller earlier this season.
The Pacers-Knights winner will advance to play the winner of Misericordia University and Medaille College. Stockton University will host the semifinals and finals on Saturday and Sunday.
Marywood will face off against Arcadia on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The Pacers beat Arcadia 10-9 in overtime on March 4 in Glenside, Pa.
Sam Bussinelli scored the game-tying and -winning goals. Bussinelli found the net 14 seconds into overtime for the Pacers' second win of the year.
In Pod 1, No. 4 Marywood University (11-7) will host No. 1 Arcadia University (10-8), while No. 2 Misericordia University (11-8) will host host No. 3 Medaille College (14-4).
In Pod 2, No. 2 Marymount University (9-9) will host No. 3 Pfeiffer University (11-1), while No. 1 Stockton University will receive a bye.
