Meighan Earns Third Career IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region Award

Meighan becomes first in program history to earn three All-Region honors

Northborough, Mass. — Marywood University senior Avery Meighan became the first in women's lacrosse program history to be selected to her third Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Region Team, officials announced Friday.

Meighan was selected to the Second Team All-Boardwalk Region for the third time in her career. It is the ninth All-Region in Marywood women's lacrosse history.

In 18 games, Meighan scored 64 goals and 41 assists for 105 points — the second-time she's eclipsed the century mark for points. She tallied 125 draw controls, 47 caused turnovers and a career-best 84 ground balls.

In NCAA Division III, she ranks 13th in draw controls per game, 15th in ground balls per game, 18th in points, 39th in caused turnovers per game, 39th in goals per game, and 46th in assists per game. Among active NCAA Division III players, Meighan ranks second in ground balls (288), third in draw controls (548), tied for third in points (with teammate Kaitlyn Smith with 376), sixth in caused turnovers (153), 10th in goals (240) and 12th in assists (136).

Meighan was previously named Second Team in 2023 and 2025.

The IWLCA has honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2026. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2026 IWLCA Division III All-American teams on May 22.
