Men's Swimming Falls to King's in First Dual Meet of the Season

Dual Meet Results

Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – Marywood University men's swimming and diving fell to King's College in their first dual meet of the season. King's finished with a team score of 187.5 to Marywood's 55.5.
 
The Pacers' top competitors were Kyle Calamia who tied for first in the 50 fly with Tom Montvydas. Both swimmers finished with a 26.64. Bob Wishart took second in the 50 free for the Pacers. Wishart touched in at 24.60, less than a second behind King's Ryan Bixler who took first. Marywood's Kaiden Estep came in second in the 100 breast (1:07.25).
 
Nick Gill and Dan Shannon finished second and third respectively in the 1,000 free. Gill touched in at 12:25.78 and Shannon finished with a 13:13.49. Estep completed the 50 breast with a 30.62 to take second.
 
The Pacers will host the University of Scranton on October 20th at 1:00 pm in a nonconference dual meet.
