Women's Lacrosse Falls to Rival Cabrini

Box Score Radnor, Pa. - Marywood University suffered a 19-5 setback to Cabrini University Thursday in Atlantic East Conference women's lacrosse action. The Cavaliers secure the top seed in the conference playoffs later this month. 

Brielle Peters led Marywood with a hat trick. Abbie Laime had a goal and an assist. Marywood scored on all five of its shots on target. 

Defensively, Emma Solomon and Natalie Walker each had two caused turnovers. Melanie Wittick picked up eight draw controls. 

Emily Dyminski recorded nine saves for the Pacers. 

Cabrini's Dana Carlson totaled seven goals and an assist for eight points. Shea Neary matched her with eight points on four goals, four assists to go with six ground balls and five caused turnovers. 

Marywood led 12-11 in draw controls for the game. 

The Pacers (3-2) return to action on Saturday for their regular season finale against Neumann University. First draw is set for 5 p.m at Pacers Field.
