Men’s Golf Falls to Scranton in Dual Match

Moosic, Pa. - The University of Scranton placed five golfers in the top five and earned medalist honors to defeat Marywood University 297-338 Wednesday afternoon in men's golf action at Glenmaura National.

In addition to the top four scores, the Royals' fifth golfer tied with Marywood's Eddie McGeevy for fifth place overall.

Ethan Zawatski shot a +1 round of 72 to take home medalist honors. He was followed by Stephen Butler's round of 74.

McGreevy led Marywood with a 79. Francesco Pazzaglia shot an 82 for the Pacers (0-1). Lucas Flederbach shot an 88.

Marywood returns to the golf course October 2 when they host Misericordia University and New Jersey City University in a tri-match at Stonehedge in Tunkhannock.
