Men's Golf Falls to Penn State Abington to Open Spring

Tunkhannock, Pa. — Marywood University men's golf opened its spring season with a loss to Penn State Abington on Thursday. The Pacers fell by seven strokes to the Lions at Stonehedge Golf Course. 

Ryan Wittenberg tied for the medalist honors with an 82 (+11). He tied the Lions' Anthony Carson for the top spot. Wittenberg hit birdies on the third and 12th holes. 

Baden Hancock was in fourth place with an 85 (+14). Luke Landis tied for fifth with an 88 (+17). 

Rounding out the Pacers' competition were Vito Ciullo (+25) and Zachary Mest (+41). 

Marywood will host Misericordia on Monday at Stone Hedge Golf Course.
