Men's Golf Edges Wilkes at Huntsville

Lehman, Pa. - Marywood University's men's golf team picked up their first win of the season, a five-stroke victory over Wilkes University at Huntsville Golf Club in Lehman. The Pacers (1-1) won by a score of 346-351.

Francesco Pazzaglia's plus-five round of 77 was good enough for medalist honors on the day. Ben Williams finished fourth for the Pacers with a round of 87.

Landon Firmstone and Colin Virkitis tied for sixth with rounds of 91, while Lucase Flederbach finished eighth overall with a 96.

Wilkes' Max Cocchi and Andrew Finke tied for second with +10 rounds of 82.

The Pacers return to action Saturday when they host a tri-match with New Jersey City University and Misericordia University at Stonehedge Golf Club in Tunkhannock. Tee-off is set for 12:00 pm.
