Track & Field Three-Peats as Atlantic East Champions

Marywood has won all three Atlantic East championships in program history

Immaculata, Pa. — Marywood University swept the Atlantic East Conference men's and women's track & field championships for the third consecutive time this weekend at Immaculata University. The Pacers took first place in 23 total events.

Marywood finished with 287 total points in the women's standings. Marymount University were runners-up with 127 points. Gwynedd Mercy University finished third with 118 points.

In the men's race, Marywood doubled runner-up Marymount with 284 points to the Saints' 142. The Griffins edged Immaculata 79-78 to take third place.

Marywood swept both Field Athlete of the Year laurels. Kristen Persico repeated as Women's Field Athlete of the Year, and Ryan Mathews earned Men's Field Athlete of the Year.

The Pacers swept the Elite 20 awards for the top individual grade-point average among the top two teams. Caleb Bakalyar was the men's recipient, and the Brianna Roth claimed the women's award.

Rosalyn Page broke a pair of Atlantic East records in the women's shot put (12.29m) and discus throw (35.64m).

Molly Repecki broke the women's 10K record with a 44:29.61 finish.
