Schutter Announces Incoming Class for Volleyball

Scranton, Pa. — Bill Schutter has announced his incoming class for the 2023 Marywood University volleyball season. Schutter is brining in six freshman student-athletes to contribute to the squad.

Haley Hallman is from Blandon, Pennsylvania and is the daughter of Keith and Stacey Hallman. She will graduate from Fleetwood Area High School located in Fleetwood, Pa. in June where she was a varsity letter winner in volleyball. She also played for SURGE volleyball club. Hallman is an honor student and intends to major in Architecture. 

Ashley Humer is from Fleetwood, Pennsylvania and is the daughter of Ronald and Sonia Humer. She will graduate from Fleetwood Area High School located in Fleetwood, Pa. in June where she was a varsity letter winner volleyball. She played for SURGE volleyball club. Humer is an honor student and intends to enter the Art Therapy program.

Jaedyn Laws is from West Grove, Pennsylvania and is the daughter of Philip and Mary Laws. She will graduate from Avon Grove High School located in West Grove, Pa. in June where she was a varsity letter winner in volleyball. She played for PA ELITE volleyball club. Laws is an high honors student and intends to major in International Business.

Priscilla Newton is from Wyalusing, Pennsylvania and is the daughter of Ralph and Jennifer Newton. She will graduate from Wyalusing High School located in Wyalusing, Pa. in June where she was a varsity letter winner in volleyball. She also played for Nightmare West volleyball club. Newton is an honor student and plans to major in Nursing.

Gianna Norton is from Luguna, California and is the daughter of Herman and Malu Norton. She will graduate from Santa Margarita Catholic High School located in Rancho Santa Santa Margarita, Ca. in June where she was a varsity letter winner in volleyball. Norton played club volleyball for Orange Coast volleyball club. She plans to major in Interior Architecture.


Payton Mosteller is from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and is the daughter of D.J. and Gwen Mosteller. She will graduate from Bishop McDevitt High School located in Harrisburg, Pa. in June where she was a varsity letter winner in volleyball. Mosteller intends to major in Nursing.
