Women's Tennis Edged by Pratt in AEC Preview

Pacers and Cannoneers play non-conference fall match

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Queens, N.Y. — Marywood University was defeated 4-3 by Pratt Institute Saturday in women's tennis. The two Atlantic East Conference teams played a non-conference match to close our their fall schedules.

Marywood (2-3) and Pratt Institute (5-1) split the singles matches. The Cannoners won two of the three doubles to earn the deciding point.

Kylie Kilgore won the third singles flight by a 6-3, 6-1 score. Alex Vitale beat her competition 6-3, 6-4 in No. 4 singles.

Avianna Santarelli won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.

The Pacers' lone doubles win came from Faith Kendricks and Catriona English in No. 3 doubles. The pair won 6-3.

Kilgore and McKenna Seavey lost No. 2 singles by a 6-4 score.

Marywood also lost to University of Scranton 7-0 on Thursday.

The Pacers are idle until the spring.
