Four Pacers Repeat as USTFCCCA All-Mid Atlantic Region Runners

New Orleans — Four Marywood University men's cross country runners were named to the U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All Mid-Atlantic Region. All five runners made at least their second appearance on the All-Region list.

Jack Baronski, Bryce Ryder, Joseph Cardillo and Thomas Lee were all selected to the All-Region team in men's cross country. Marywood finished third in the Mid-Atlantic Region behind Carnegie Mellon and Johns Hopkins.

Baronski became the first Marywood men's cross country runner to earn four all-regional awards in his career. Baronski had a program-best fourth place finish at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals. He broke the school record by completing the 8K race in 24:29.4. Baronski finished within the top seven for the third time in his career.

Ryder recorded his third All-Region finish. He ran a 24:35.7 to earn seventh place. Ryder moves up to third all-time in the school record books.

Cardillo made it back-to-back appearances on the All-Region list. He completed the race in 25:20.1 for 27th place. Cardillo is sixth all-time in Marywood school history.

Lee used a 33rd place finish to repeat as an All-Mid Atlantic Region runner. He clocked in at 25:29.9 in his final collegiate cross country race. Lee dropped 10.2 seconds off his PR to move to eighth all-time at Marywood.

They become the 14th through 18th all-region selections in Marywood men's cross country history. During this decade, the Pacers have had 15 all-region runners to cement themselves as a premiere regional program.
