AEC Basketball Doubleheader Postponed to Valentine's Day

Marywood will take on Gwynedd Mercy in regular season home finale

Scranton, Pa. -- The Atlantic East Conference basketball doubleheader between Marywood University and Gwynedd Mercy University has been postponed due to expecting inclement weather in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Pacers will host Gwynedd Mercy University with the women tipping off at 6 p.m. and the men beginning at approximately 8 p.m.

The regular season finale will be pivotal in both teams' playoff seedings. A men's basketball win on Wednesday would put Marywood in a tie for second place with a first-round bye on the line. If the women's basketball team defeats the Griffins for a second time this season, it will secure the No. 5 seed in the conference playoffs.
