Galko Ties for Medalist Honors in Dual Match Loss

Tunkhannock, Pa. — Marywood University lost to Misericordia University 326-349 to begin the men's golf season at Stonehedge Golf Course. The loss ends a 12-match winning streak over the Cougars that dates back to 2011.

Ben Galko tied for medalist honors with a 75 (+4). He was even with Misericordia's Brett Herman for the top spot in the individual standings.

Luke Landis finished tied for fourth place with an 85 (+14).

Marywood was rounded out by Kaeden Kuzmeirz's 91 (+20), Zachary Carpenter's 98 (+27) and Soren Svanson's 99 (+28).

The Pacers will compete against Moravian University on Monday at the Saucon Valley Country Club's Weyhill Course in Fountain Hill.
