AEC Preview | Women's Basketball Travel to No. 1 Immaculata in Atlantic East Semifinal

The Pacers defeated Centenary Monday, 77-73

Scranton, Pa. – Fifth-seeded Marywood University will travel to Immaculata to take on the Mighty Macs in the Atlantic East Semifinal Wednesday, February 26th. The broadcast will be aired on the Atlantic East Network. 

The Pacers advanced to the semifinals after squaring off and eliminating Centenary It was Marywood's first playoff victory since defeating Immaculata University 79-77 in double overtime during the 2019-20 season. Rachel McDonald had a career-high 27 points while Megan Cavoli collected 16 points. The Pacers were trailing until the fourth quarter. In the last three minutes of the game, Marywood went on a 12-2 run and defeated Centenary, 77-73. 

Marywood (13-13) has its most wins since the 2018-2019 where the Pacers finished 13-14 overall.
