Women's Cross Country Takes Fourth at Misericordia

Dallas Twp., Pa. — Marywood University women's cross country finished fourth out of eight teams to open its season at the Misericordia Invitational on Friday.

The Pacers scored 86 points with an average 4K time of 17 minutes, 35 seconds.

Misericordia University won with 21 points. Dickinson College finished second with 51 points, ahead of the University of Scranton's 86 points.

Paige Redman finished in eighth place with a 16:07.5. Redman ran 2:24 faster than her previous 4K best.

Bella Auchenbach took 24th place with a 17:11.3 time. Auchenbach finished 58 seconds ahead of last year's 4K time at Misericordia.

A pair of freshmen scored in their Marywood debut. Janella Sanabria ran 17:22.5 for 28th place, and Katie Modrovsky finished in 18:18.7 for 47th place.

Abby Adamsky was 55th in 18:58.7. Zoe Badner finished in 19:26.8.

Cassandra Juliano ran her first cross country race in 19:33.9.

Marywood travels to Manhattan University on Saturday, Sept. 13.
