Smoker Earns Athlete of the Week Honors, Kilgore to Weekly Honor Roll

Haddonfield, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's and Women's Tennis weekly award winners on Monday, with Marywood's Zane Smoker was named Player of the Week and Kylie Kilgore tabbed Weekly Honor Roll, respectively.

Smoker led the Pacers to their third consecutive victory, the longest win streak in 10 seasons, with a singles and doubles win over DeSales. He won the No. 3 singles match by 6-1, 6-2 scores. Smoker teamed up with Isaac Carpenter to earn a decisive doubles win that proved pivotal in the 4-3 match victory over the Bulldogs. In the second doubles flight, Smoker and Carpenter won by a 6-2 decision.

Kilgore led Marywood to its second straight win with a 7-0 victory over DeSales. She won the top singles flight by a 6-2, 6-1 score. Kilgore and Alexandra Vitale earned a No. 1 doubles victory by a 6-4 decision.

Both Men's and Women's Tennis will host Misericordia, Tuesday.
