Marywood Sweeps Player of the Week Honors in Volleyball

Haddonfield, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Volleyball weekly award winners on Monday as Marywood's Genevieve Pollock and Catie Woolf earned Player and Specialty Player of the Week honors, respectively.

Pollock led the Pacers to a 3-0 week with 42 kills (3.5 per set) and a .348 hitting percentage. She opened the week with 17 kills and nine digs for a .389 attack percentage in a four-set win over King's. Pollock added 11 kills and three block assists in a three-set victory against previously undefeated Alfred State. She capped her performance against Lycoming with 14 kills to lead the Pacers to their fifth straight win to open the season. 

Woolf tallied 70 digs, averaging 5.83 per set, to lead Marywood to three wins. Woolf totaled 32 digs in a five-set decision over Lycoming. She had 17 digs in a three-set victory over previously undefeated Alfred State. Woolf began the week with 21 digs to down King's for the first time since 2010. For the week, Woolf had just three reception errors in a team-high 63 attempts for a .952 mark. She added three aces and eight assists.

The Pacers face Albright at home, Tuesday evening.
