Haddonfield, N.J.- The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Lacrosse weekly award winners on Monday, as Marywood swept with Kaitlyn Smith being named Player of the Week and Avery Meighan being named Defensive Player of the Week.

Smith led the Pacers to a 17-12 win over Juniata with a nine-point effort. She scored five goals and four assists. Tied at 9-9 at halftime, Smith helped Marywood topple the Eagles with a point (two goals, one assist) in three goals in the opening 5:12 of the second half.

Meighan helped the Pacers defeat Juniata 17-12 with an outstanding performance on the defensive side of the field. She had 10 draw controls, seven ground balls and six caused turnovers to help Marywood limit the Eagles to just three second half goals. Offensively, Meighan had four goals and three assists for seven points. 

Marywood (4-5) hosts the University of Lynchburg on Thursday.
