Meighan Selected to Atlantic East Honor Roll

Haddonfield, N.J.- Marywood University women's lacrosse player Avery Meighan was named to the weekly honor roll from the Atlantic East Conference Monday afternoon.

Meighan led Marywood to a pair of victories with six goals and six assists for 12 points. She added 12 draw controls, eight ground balls, and six caused turnovers to her all-around week.

Meighan had a hand in five of the Pacers' eight goals in an upset victory over Lynchburg. She added six draws and three ground balls to give the Hornets just their second loss of the season.

Meighan contributed a seven-point effort with four goals and three assists in a rout over Wilson. She broke the Marywood all-time points record (331) with her last goal in the win against Lynchburg.

Marywood heads to Immaculata University on Saturday for their conference opener.
