Marywood Concludes Outdoor Track & Field Season with Record-Setting Performances

Chester & Collegeville, Pa.- The Marywood University men's and women's outdoor track & field teams wrapped up their seasons this week at the Widener Final Qualifier and the AARTFC Outdoor Championships, hosted by Ursinus College.

At the Widener Final Qualifier, Elizabeth Tomassetti broke the school record in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.40, placing 12th overall. Joseph Cardillo also competed for Marywood, finishing the 5000 meters in 15:39.33.

At the AARTFC Outdoor Championships, the men's team finished 44th out of 48 teams. Shilo Bivins tied the school record in the high jump after clearing 6-5.5 (1.97m), earning a seventh-place finish.
