Men's Golf Opens Season with Loss to Lycoming

Tunkhannock, Pa. — Marywood University opened its men's golf season with a 319-351 loss to Lycoming College on Saturday at Stone Hedge Golf Course. The Pacers shot a 67-over par.

J. Corner finished third overall with an 80 for 9-over par. Corner birdied the ninth hole.

Ryan Wittenberg shot an 84 for 13-over par. He was sixth place overall, hitting a birdie on the third hole.

Baden Hancock finished with a 92 (21-over par). He also had one birdie on the 17th hole.

Luke Landis had a team-high two birdies. He finished with a score of 95.

Jacob Begin rounded out the Pacers with a 101.

Lycoming's T. Lesperance was the medalist with a 74 (3-over par).

Marywood will compete next Saturday against Keystone College.
