Barwick, Frazer Take Home MAC Freedom Weekly Honors

Newtown, Pa.- The Middle Atlantic Conference announced the field hockey weekly award winners on Tuesday morning as Brooke Barwick and Sabrina Frazer were named MAC Freedom Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.

Barwick earns her second consecutive offensive player of the week award. The junior forward tallied three goals and an assist for seven points in wins over Lycoming and Albright, scoring the game-winner in a 3-1 win over the Warriors and adding two goals and an assist in a 4-1 win over the Lions. She has scored in five straight games, a career best.

Frazer is the first field hockey player to receive defensive player of the week recognition from the Middle Atlantic Conference. The junior goalkeeper posted a 0.67 goals-against average and a .833 save percentage in two Marywood wins, making three saves in a 3-1 victory over Lycoming and two stops to keep Albright scoreless for 30 minutes.

The Pacers (5-3) hit the road tomorrow for a matchup against No. 20 The College of New Jersey.
