Match Results

Moosic, Pa. - Michael Thomas returned after a year off to lead Marywood University to wins over Scranton and Keystone Wednesday in a men's golf tri-match. Thomas, who had taken last year off, fired a 1-under round of 70 to earn medalist honors.  Marywood (305) cruised past Scranton (337) and Keystone (446) in the win.

Marywood dominated the match, placing the top five golfers in the event. Following Thomas' low round of 70, Joe Weber shot a 77 to finish second, Nicholas Biondi shot a 78 to finish third and James Tressler fired a 80 to finish fourth and round out the Pacers' team scoring.

Jack Hauber was fifth overall with a 81 while Austin Zehel finished seventh after a round of 83.

The only other player to break into the top seven was Scranton's Thomas McAuliffe, who finished sixth with a round of 82.

Marywood (2-0) is at the Elizabethtown College Invitational Tuesday at Hershey Country Club's East Course.
