Men's Golf Splits Tri-Match with Scranton and King's

Match Results

Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – Marywood University men's golf split their tri-match today against The University of Scranton and King's College. The Pacers' 311 (+27) was enough to overcome the Monarchs' 332 (+38). Scranton's 303 (+19) bested Marywood by six strokes.

Freshman Eddie McGreevy led the Pacers with their best round of the day, shooting a 75 (+4). McGreevy improved his round by two strokes from last week to take third. His teammate James Tressler was just one stroke behind (76) to take fourth. Joseph Weber tied for fifth with Scranton's Nicholas Campanelli. Both golfers shot a 78 (+7).

McGreevy's 74 was just three strokes behind the day's leader, Calvin Ralph of Scranton (72). Thomas McAulliffe 73 (+3) was good enough to take second. Evan Murphy was the top finisher for King's shooting an 80 (+9). King's Nicholas Kurzinsky and Colin Lagarde tied for 11th place both shooting an 83 (+12).

Marywood will be competing against Misericordia at Irem Golf Club on Sunday October 6th. The match is set to start at 1:00 pm.
