Smith Notches AEC Defensive Players of the Week Honors

Haddonfield, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's Soccer Weekly award winner, Monday. Marywood's Drew Smith was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Smith helped the Marywood defense hold opponents to just .5 points per game in a pair of Atlantic East victories. He scored a penalty kick goal in Marywood's 8-1 victory over Gwynedd Mercy. Smith also headed a long Jack Forbes cross into the goal for Marywood's fifth-straight win.

The Pacers will be concluding conference play Wednesday, hosting Immaculata.
