Englehardt Reaches Podium with Third-Place Finish in 500 Free

Women's 200 Free Relay also takes third place

St. Mary's City, Md. — Marywood University placed its first individual on the podium at the 2025 Atlantic East Conference Women's and Men's Swimming Championships on Friday. The Pacers competed in the second day of competition.

Molly Englehardt was third place in the 500 free. She dropped 3.46 seconds off her seed time to finish. Marymount University's Lilliam Crawley out-touched St. Mary's College's Catherine Judge by a tenth of a second for first place.

Emerson Gellert was in seventh place in the 500 free with a 5:42.47.

Englehardt and Aubrey Mangan earned fifth and sixth places in the 50 free. The duo were just seven-hundredths of a second from each other with times of 26.59 and 26.66 seconds, respectively.

In the women's 200 IM, Catelyn Lieser held on for a seventh place finish. Seeded eighth after prelims, Lieser rushed out to a lead over St. Mary's Natalie Canham during the backstroke for a time of 2:28.14.

Nathan Grosvenor dropped 4.11 seconds off his prelim time for a 2:10.22 to earn 10th place in the 200 IM. Alex McCarey was ninth in the 500 free in 5:29.98.

Alex Corcoran and Aaron Purdy came in 10th and 11th places in the 50 free with marks of 24.28 and 25.4 seconds.

The Pacers' women's 200 free relay of Mangan, Lieser, Gellert and Englehardt swam to a third-place finish in the 200 free relay. They had a time of 1:46.59 seconds.

The men's 200 free relay of Grosvenor, Purdy, McCarey and Corcoran came in fourth in 1:36.73.

Marywood crept back into the women's standings, moving to fourth place with 151 points. The Pacers are 19 points shy of Immaculata and 55 points behind Marymount.

The Pacers lead the Mighty Macs by 20 points for third place in the men's standings with 127 points.

St. Mary's leads the women's standings, and Marymount holds onto a 39-point lead in the men's race.
